Alternative Shrunken Heads

Our alternative shrunken heads are made in-house using only natural products, each one taking approximately four days to complete. Generally made to order, you can specify changes to the standard design by choosing from the many options available. Unless otherwise instructed we will adhere to the basic designs shown. Each head comes with a handmade macramé thong and a solid brass ring so it can be hung. These heads can also be mounted on a wooden post for exhibition purposes.

Options include;

Tattoos - head tattoos and indented traditional tribal full facial.
Hair - colour and size and style including pony tails and dreadlocks (all colours available, so if shocking pink’s your thing just let me know).

Eyes - sewn eyes*.

Mouth - sewn mouth*, lower lip wooden plugs, mouth plugs, mouth cord tassles and wooden spiked mouths. Also available with pigs teeth.

Ears - ear plugs, ear lobe plugs, real feather ear dress.

Nose - nose plugs, nose septum bone plugs.

Face - full wooden insertions, facial tassle dressing.

* Sewn mouth and eyes were traditional practices to entrap the soul of the victim and stop him seeing, talking to and haunting his captors!!!
